About Us

My father, Thomas E. DeRosa has been involved with tennis since 1930. He was instrumental in the construction of the first clay tennis courts for the village of Mamaroneck, NY and his dedication and pride for the sport made the Derosa name synonymous with tennis construction in Westchester County and the surrounding areas.

This recognition led to many high profile opportunities. One such opportunity was lead paving contractor during the construction of the new competition courts at the U.S. Open in Flushing, NY. In addition we’ve received recognitions of excellence in design and construction for several award winning tennis facilities.

Over the years, our company has taken the natural next step to become a leader in the construction of synthetic turf and natural grass sports fields. This has been a welcomed growth to our business over the past 12 years. Forward thinking, loyalty to employees and continuing education through the American Sports Builders Association have been major contributors to our success and longevity in the sports construction industry.

As president, I offer you the same dedication and commitment my father gave to all his customers over 75 years ago.
